Mongolia’s first class 1, no junction, heavy-duty, 233.6 km (324.5 km long in the unfolded state) railway between Tavantolgoi and Gashuunsuhait with the capacity to transport 30-50 million tons of freight per year and the ring road for loading accepted for regular use on May 30, 2023.

Bodi International LLC worked as a General Contractor for this mega railway project, which has significant importance for the people, economy, and social development of Mongolia. The construction work of the project package was completed successfully in phases within the period specified in the contract, and the first technical commission was established by the order of the Minister of Road and Transport Development on December 23, 2021, and worked on the project in January 2022.

Therefore, the state commission established by Order No. 125 of the Minister of Construction and Urban Development dated May 29, 2023, worked on the Tavantolgoi-Gashuunsukhait railway, and based on the conclusions of the technical commission, and recommendation of the members of the state commission, the railway road put into regular use.
