On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Bodi Group and within the framework of the “100 hundred trees” project, Tree Planting Day was organized on May 13, 2023, at the National Amusement Park.
In the event, employees from 8 subsidiaries and affiliated companies of Bodi Group participated with their families and planted 570 trees including 6 and 10-year-old spruces, firs, lilacs, and flowering almonds on 2,326 square meters in the north-eastern part of the National Amusement Park.
On the same day, Bodi Group held many fascinating art performances, games, and interesting gifts for its employees and their family members.
The “100 Hundred Trees” project has been organized every year, and as of 2022, 100 trees of 5 types were planted respectively in Tsogttsetsii Soum and Bayan-Ovoo Soum, Umnogovi Province, and forest engineers and conservationists gave advice and information to the local people about tree care.
Also, in 2022, within the framework of the project, 5,000 trees were planted on 1.5 hectares of land next to the Gegeen Lake in Bayanjargalan Soum, Tuv Province, and a complete irrigation system was installed near the planted trees.
Thus, 5,200 trees planted in the above three locations are being grown with regular attention by creating irrigation and care systems and appointing responsible persons.
Every tree requires constant watering, care, fertilization, and pruning for the first 3-5 years until it adapts to the place where it is planted. Therefore, the project team emphasizes that it is important to consider carefully who is going to take care of them, and for how long.
The 570 trees planted this year will be regularly cared for and watered by National Amusement Park LLC in accordance with the above standards.
The name of this project symbolizes that the trees planted grow by 100s. Bodi Group will continue to invest in the environment and its restoration for social responsibility and aims to implement the “100 Hundred Trees” project in the long term and sustainably.
