The 42nd mid-term conference of the International Federation of Asian and Western Pacific Contractors’ Associations (IFAWPCA) was organized by the Mongolian National Construction Association (MNCA) for the first time in Mongolia from June 14 to 17, 2023.
During the conference, events such as the Era of Sustainable Construction Forum, the Construction and Development Business Forum” or “B2B” meeting, and the Construction and Development Open Day were held, and about 200 construction industry experts, engineers, contractors, and investors from 18 member countries of IFAWPCA participated.
At the forum, topics facing the world today, including green buildings, energy saving, renewable energy, and the participation of the construction industry in reducing greenhouse gases, financing, and earthquakes were discussed, and exchanged experience with international experts.
The event was important for reflecting good international practices in our construction and development activities, as well as opening up business opportunities for Mongolian companies to enter the international market.
Also, representatives of 18 countries were received at the Research and Development Center under Bodi International LLC, where they were introduced to the activities of Bodi Group and discussed the cooperative partnership in the construction and infrastructure sector.
As for the IFAWPCA community, it consists of 18 countries and is working towards the goal of developing a green, sustainable, and environmentally friendly construction industry.
